AssetWorks LLC Completes Acquisition of E-Innovative Services Group (E-ISG) LLC

E-ISG’s eQuip! platform expands AssetWorks’ asset management software offering

PITTSBURGH, PA – July 9, 2018 – AssetWorks LLC today announced that it has acquired E-Innovative Services Group, LLC (E-ISG), a provider of asset management software based in Baltimore, Maryland. The E-ISG eQuip! platform offers users a robust and dynamic solution for tracking, managing, and reporting on assets across their lifecycle. With mobile capabilities for inventory management, eQuip! makes it easy to conduct physical inventories and keep asset data up-to-date while on-the-go.

“We look forward to incorporating E-ISG’s strengths and capabilities into the greater AssetWorks offering,” said Michael Borello, VP AssetWorks. “Whether we’re talking about eQuip! functionality, like its mobile features or Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliant reporting, or the deep knowledge and skills of the E-ISG team, this acquisition represents a continued investment in delivering quality solutions to our customers and prospects.”

Over the past several years, with the leadership of Jackie Luo, CEO and her two business partners, Eric Beser, CTO and Tom Heseltine, CFO, E-ISG Asset Intelligence has grown rapidly to become a dominant provider of asset management software solutions to the Aerospace and Defense industry. In addition, a user friendly, flexible framework allows the E-ISG eQuip! platform to bring efficiencies in asset management to State and Local Governments, institutions of higher learning, and several entities in the private sector.

“We have been focusing on building a competitively differentiated product by integrating the most relevant technology into our software and mobile application,” said Jackie Luo, E-ISG CEO. “We are excited to bring the eQuip! software to the AssetWorks family, and look forward to leveraging AssetWorks’ infrastructure and best practices to better serve our customers.”

E-ISG Asset Intelligence Implemented the eQuip! Asset Management System in State of Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education

Baltimore, MD — Oct. 11, 2017

E-ISG Asset Intelligence has completed the implementation of its eQuip! inventory management system in the State of Connecticut Higher Education Institutions.

On Oct. 5, twelve Connecticut community colleges, led by the System Office of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU), started using the eQuip! system for their system of record in managing all physical assets.

The project for implementing the eQuip! inventory management system in these high education institutions started in January of 2017. During the implementation, the eQuip! system has been configured to meet some unique requirements in account coding, asset category, equipment loan process, and asset disposal codes, as outlined by the State of Connecticut Property Management Manual. Moreover, the eQuip! system has been connected to their ERP system Banner, allowing data to flow from the ERP system to the inventory management system and therefore saving time in data entry and reducing errors.

Last week’s launch of the eQuip! asset inventory management system for the 12 Connecticut Community Colleges is a significant event. Stevev Gorman, who led the RFP process in selecting E-ISG Asset Intelligence to provide the inventory management system, commented: “As our partner in this implementation, E-ISG met the daunting task of building a multi-institutional asset management system which allows each college to independently manage its assets, while enabling the System Office to have an enterprise-wide view.  Prior to this eQuip! deployment, the colleges had to hire an external service provider to conduct their annual inventory audit. Now, they can do inventory audits on their own.  With the successful completion of this major project in these colleges, we are looking forward to support each of the Connecticut State Universities migrating from their existing asset inventory management system to the eQuip! inventory management system.”

The challenge for implementing an inventory management system across so many institutions is to strike a balance for consistent business processes across all while allowing individual institutions to configure and customize their data fields, workflows, and reports. Jackie Luo, CEO of E-ISG Asset Intelligence, believes that the latest implementation is a testimony to the unique strength of the eQuip! asset management system. She said, “The eQuip! software is a Commercial Off the Shelf system, but it is flexibly built to allow individual configuration. The implementation team completed such a major system implementation in less than 10 months, including integrating eQuip! with CSCU’s ERP system Banner. This shows how flexible the eQuip! system is. The flexibility is what our users need and that’s how we want to deliver the software.”

E-ISG Asset Intelligence Has Won the Award to Provide Asset Inventory Solution to State of Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education

Baltimore, MD — July 11, 2016

E-ISG Asset Intelligence, with its easy to use and low cost enterprise asset management solution eQuip!, has just been awarded to provide Asset Inventory Solution to the State of Connecticut Higher Education Institutions.

The State of Connecticut Board of Regents, including the Connecticut State Universities, Connecticut Community Colleges, Charter Oak State College, and the System Offices, has issued an RFP (RFP BOR-1603) earlier this year for an asset management system to support more efficient tracking, reporting and management of physical and IT assets in these institutions. After a rigorous selection process, the Board of Regents has awarded the contract to E-ISG Asset Intelligence.

Jackie Luo, CEO of E-ISG Asset Intelligence, believes that the company’s eQuip! enterprise asset management system is best positioned to support the needs of the Board of Regents and all its constituents. “To support the distributed campuses, to accommodate the unique asset management needs of each institution while implementing the overall policy and procedures set by the Board of Regents, it requires a software system that is flexible, mobile, and cost efficient to make all these configurations.”

E-ISG Asset Intelligence provides enterprise asset management software, not only as an application to manage the life cycle information of physical and IT assets, but also as a platform to connect with other systems, such as IT auto discovery tools, procurement systems, and Internet of Things. This approach has won recognition from both customers and industry analysts. The CIO Review magazine has selected E-ISG Asset Intelligence as “the top 20 most promising enterprise asset management solution providers.”

E-ISG Asset Intelligence is to Present Equipment Management Best Practices in the National Charter School Conference 2015

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) May 05, 2015

The CEO of E-ISG Asset Intelligence will attend the National Charter School Conference 2015 (New Orleans, June 21-24, 2015) to lead a discussion on how to manage the physical and IT assets more efficiently in charter schools. The National Charter School Conference 2015 has decided to include “Equipment Management Best Practices for Grant Management” as a topic in the Operation track of presentations. Many of these charter schools receive Federal grant funding, and they are subject to Code of Federal Regulations(CFR) and most recently the Uniform Requirements on equipment inventory and asset management. Managing the equipment purchased with federal grants to meet the CFR requirements is an operational challenge for many charter schools.

The National Charter School Conference 2015 is organized by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. It is the largest annual gathering of charter school teachers, school leaders, administrators, board members, and advocates from across the country. This two and a half day event provides engaging keynote sessions, relevant breakout sessions, and myriad networking opportunities for more than 4,500 charter school professionals and policy-makers.

E-ISG Asset Intelligence has been serving the nation’s school systems, private and public, for many years. Its equipment management software eQuip! helps the schools to manage the physical and IT assets, track what they have and where they are. With eQuip! tracking these physical assets efficiently, the schools can meet the requirements from their grant funding agencies on inventory audit, reporting, and insurance coverage.

Its CEO Jackie Luo is a subject matter expert on the business processes and technologies for enterprise asset management. Jackie is very encouraged to see that the National Charter School Conference has recognized the importance of the equipment management function. “The equipment management or facility management function often lacks the visibility of top leadership in the charter school community, but it’s a critical part of their operations to meet the requirements from their funding agencies.”

E-ISG Asset Intelligence Is Chosen to Participate in Loudoun County Challenge

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) Aug. 27, 2014

E-ISG Asset Intelligence is part of the three collaboration teams selected by the Virginia-based Innovative Solutions Consortium (ISC) to showcase their public safety solutions in the Loudoun County Challenge event on August 27th.
On Aug. 27th, E-ISG Asset Intelligence joins the team led by Haystax Technology to present innovative solutions to the Loudoun County government team, in the inaugural “Loudoun County Challenge” event organized by the Virginia-based Innovative Solutions Consortium (ISC). The team will demonstrate a variety of integrated software solutions for their proposed Loudoun County Public Safety Cloud, to address the “hard problems” facing the county in its public safety, emergency operations and critical infrastructure protection missions.

The purpose of this event is to provide “proof of concept” solutions to some of Loudoun County’s hard technology challenges. This inaugural event is focused on public safety and transportation issues. Participants to this event include more than a dozen technology companies, some 100 senior executives, government leaders and academics from Loudoun County, a rapidly growing 520-square-mile area that is home to nearly 350,000 residents and host to data centers that process about 70% of the world’s internet traffic.

The proposed solution from the team’s collaboration is designed to solve four interrelated problems for the county:

  1. The lack of information-sharing among public safety stakeholders spread across multiple jurisdictions and a broad geographic area;
  2. The lack of timely “situational awareness” regarding threats and hazards in the county;
  3. Data overload created by the massive and growing amount of information that must be absorbed, understood and acted upon by those responsible for the safety of the county’s people, facilities and equipment; and
  4. The lack of accurate, up-to-date information about available emergency management equipment and resources across different jurisdictions.

eQuip! Government Property Management Software Supports the New IUID Registry Requirements Effective on Aug. 1

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) July 22, 2014

Starting August 1, the DOD’s IUID registry will have new requirements for contractors to update their government property information to the IUID registry. The eQuip! team has updated the software to support those requirements.

The eQuip! Enterprise Asset Management software is the top choice for many government contractors for managing Government Property while supporting mission critical operations for the Federal Government, including the Department of Defense. The DoD requires its contractors to update the asset UID in the IUID registry. Starting Aug. 1, the DoD will require contractors to log on to a different set of web service to access the IUID registry. The eQuip! software has been updated to support those requirements.

The eQuip! Enterprise Asset Management software has an out-of-box configuration for government contractors to manage Government Property, including Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP). The software is easy to use, easy to integrate with other systems, mobile, and low cost. With one integrated software, users can support all the key requirements on a contractor’s Government Property Management business system outlined in FAR 52.245.1 and DFARS 252.245-700X, 252.211-700X, 252.242.700X series. Users don’t need to buy additional modules.

The eQuip! Government Property Management System is integrated with CostPoint, a popular accounting software used by many government contractors. The integration streamlines the asset receiving process, eliminates double data entries, and saves labor hours. The eQuip! Government Property Management System also supports the UID requirement from the DoD. By using eQuip!, DoD contractors can save significant amount of labor hours in meeting the requirements of generating UID labels and updating the IUID registry with any changes.

The eQuip! software is a key component of the Government Property Management business system for many contractors. The Government Property Management business system is one of the 6 business systems contractors are required to establish and maintain based on the Federal Acquisition Rules.

“In most of these mission critical support contracts, having an asset management business system in place is a key requirement. Government contractors should examine their current capabilities and make investment in this system to stay competitive” said Jackie Luo, CEO of E-ISG Asset Intelligence.

Government Property Management Software eQuip! Integrates with Costpoint from Deltek

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) March 05, 2014

E-ISG Asset Intelligence, the provider of government property management software eQuip!, recently released new features that streamline the Asset Receiving process through integration with the purchasing system Costpoint from Deltek. The integration will save users time, reduce data entry errors, and improve their government property management business system.

E-ISG Asset Intelligence, the provider of government property management software solutions, eQuip! SaaS and eQuip! On Premise, is proud to announce that it has integrated eQuip! with Deltek’s purchsing software Costpoint. The integration will streamline the Asset Receiving process for Costpoint users. It allows seamless conversion of asset items in purchase orders in Costpoint to received items in the eQuip! Government Property Management system. After being received, the life cycle management of these items will be supported by eQuip!.

Among many users of this integration capability in eQuip! is Camber Corp., a large company based in Huntsville, AL, with about 100 locations worldwide and more than 2000 employees. Many government contractors, such as Camber Corp., need to manage Government Furnished Property when they are delivering services to their federal agency clients. The federal regulations governing these contracts (FAR/DFAR) require them to have a Government Property Management business system in place. E-ISG Asset Intelligence provides flexible, easy to use, and low cost government property management software — eQuip! SaaS and eQuip! On Premise. The software has built in business processes that support asset management best practices and the specific FAR/DFAR requirements.

Since a lot of government contractors use Costpoint to track purchases for their contracts and projects, the integration of eQuip! and Costpoint will save eQuip! users from manual data entry of purchased items. “Ask any property manager, and they will tell you that their biggest fear in adopting a robust asset management business process is the cost and time of data entry into the asset management system,” Eric Beser, the Chief Technology Officer of E-ISG Asset Intelligence commented.

Camber Corp. is among one of the first users of this newly released feature in eQuip!. In fact, they were working closely with E-ISG as the new features were developed and tested. Eric Beser, the Chief Technology Officer of E-ISG Asset Intelligence, said, “Customers are our best source of product innovation.” According to Eric, the integration between eQuip! and Costpoint is all about “reducing the total key strokes with maximum accuracy per asset item.”

Government Property Management solution eQuip! is designed for ease of use. It provides the flexibility, extendability, and mobility required for an efficient asset management system. Users can generate custom reports easily via excel templates and integrate with other software systems via standard Web APIs. Users can use Android phones, iPhones and iPads to manage assets in the field.
