E-ISG Asset Intelligence has enabled the AEgis Technologies Group Inc. to meet the IUID requirements from Department of Defense, by electronically updating DoD’s IUID registry with Unique Item Identifiers of all the components and sub components in the Improved Moving Target Simulator Systems (IMTS), which AEgis has just delivered to DoD.

AEgis specializes in utilizing modeling & simulation (M&S) technology to support weapon systems development and create training solutions so our troops make it home safely. The Improved Moving Target Simulator Systems (IMTS) are 360 degree fully immersive visual simulation systems with state-of-the-art computer image generators. They will help to prepare US troops to fight more effectively and return home safely. A video showing the fielded system is posted on YouTube at the following URL: https://youtu.be/wzFzyoUBZc8

To deliver this program, AEgis is required to upload the Unique Item Identifier (UII) data into the DoD IUID Registry to maintain accountability of each IMTS system utilizing DoD’s Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) component of the government’s Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer (iRAPT) system.

AEgis uses E-ISG Asset Intelligence’s Commercial off the Shelf software eQuip! for their Government Property Management system. Additionally, AEgis uses eQuip! to electronically transmit all the IMTS system and component data from its Government Property system or record to DoD’s IUID registry.

Bob Gravitz, Director of Corporate Development at AEgis, said the technical support staff at E-ISG has played a critical role in helping AEgis to meet the contractual requirements to upload the data electronically to DoD’s IUID registry. He said, “Our success was made possible by the up to date features in eQuip!, dedicated support by E-ISG’s technical staff, and the attention to details from our own Property Management staff.”
